Root areas must be protected to ensure that the tree can be adequately supplied with oxygen and nutrients. Sewerage systems and supply shafts are also located in the ground and represent further obstacles to tree protection. The Radix G root bridge is supported by a screw foundation and can thus be placed between roots or shafts. Another advantage of RADIX G is the low installation height, as only the construction and the gratings come into play here, thus achieving an overall installation height of only 12 cm.
The root bridge RADIX G is suitable for the protection of root areas that only allow a low construction height and an area utilization up to the tree is desired.
Depending on the design, our root bridges can withstand a dynamic wheel load of 1.5 t (for pedestrians and cars in calmed traffic zones) or 5.0 t (emergency vehicles and trucks, but cannot be used under roads). Due to their modular design and individual production, they are suitable for every building project. Even small height differences or gradients can be compensated by the variable screw foundation. The use of the foundations is correspondingly variable, so that the sensitive root system or lines do not pose an obstacle. Likewise, the pavement stop edge is adjustable according to your building requirement.
