Floor ventilation in urban areas is immensely important due to the increasing sealing of surfaces, such as floor paving up to the trunk. Because if the exchange of soil gases and oxygen is disturbed, this will lead to a decline in growth and finaly to the death of the tree. Consequently, this also means that adequately supplied roots cause less damage to the surrounding infrastructure, such as growing into power lines or pushing up surface coverings.
The water-air caps are built into the surface and serve as an inlet and holder for an aeration or irrigation pipe.

The ventilation caps consist of a cast aluminum body and a swivel grille made of stainless steel, which can be pivoted. They correspond to load classes A and B according to DIN EN 1433. Depending on the version, they are height-adjustable.
The caps can be combined with commercially available pipes in sizes DN 80 and DN 100.
