The HUNO Tankbank® is a bench with an integrated irrigation system for the optimal maintenance of healthy urban greenery. A key factor in redesigning cities against the increasingly noticeable climate change is a healthy and diverse urban greenery. With the changing climatic conditions, the maintainance measures are also increasing. In order to compensate for this additional effort, it is advisable to integrate modern hybrid products into the cityscape. Our Tankbank® offers an innovative solution. The Tankbank® is available in various sizes and is filled via an easily accessible, large opening that allows for easy, quick filling. Thanks to the above-ground installation, both existing trees and newly planted trees can be watered professionally. With its modern design and a large number of color and size variations, it fits perfectly with any cityscape.
The tank bank is particularly suitable for above-ground watering of trees and reduces costly watering runs during longer dry periods.
The amount of water available in the Tankbank® water reservoir is continuously and slowly released to one or more tree locations via an adjustable outlet in connection with a drip hose. The supply line from the Tankbank® to the tree is usually laid in a plastic line under the pavement and ends above or inside the tree root. A regulating valve that is integrated on the side and installed flush with the surface can only be adjusted with a special key. This allows for easily accessible and quick adaptation to current weather conditions. A modification by unauthorized persons is excluded at the same time.
With the optional HUNO® SENS hardware package and the web application, you can irrigate individually and demand-driven, based on various data sources, such as regional rainfall, weather forecast, soil measurements and current fill levels of several tree locations. Due to the long-life battery operation, a power supply is not required.
