In contrast to other products on the market, the HUMBERG aluminum grates are made of cast aluminium. These lightweight gratings enable quick and easy assembly and, if necessary, easy cleaning of the tree location. Thanks to their non-slip surface, they offer additional protection for pedestrians. This root protection is available in a square and rectangular design and is 99% recyclable. It is designed for a wheel load of 1.5 t to 5 t and impresses with its striking design. In addition, this grating is available in all RAL shades.
Cast aluminum gratings impress with their unique grooved appearance and their low installation height of 3 cm and can also be used as a covering for a root bridge system.
There are 2 grate versions AERO and AERO Heels. The latter has smaller bar spacing so that the heel of a pump cannot sink in. Depending on the desired wheel load, both types of grating lie on a supporting structure, which in turn is bolted to the outer frame of the concrete foundation. Complemented by HUNO® TreeCare, you get a system that prevents compaction of the soil around the root ball and ensures adequate ventilation.
