PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SIPA

the most effective way to water plants

Many trees suffer from the heat and drought and have to endure long periods without precipitation. Irregular supply of water, however, leads to stress for urban trees. For example, a birch tree evaporates about 60 liters per day, but if there is insufficient supply, it sheds the leaves, so that no evaporation can take place, and then, there is no cooling effect on the environment either.

The HUMBERG irrigation system offers a solution by successive tree irrigation. The support frame serves as a water reservoir and provides the tree with sufficient liquid through an optional, adjustable drip irrigation system.

The system can be used for both new plantings and existing trees.

FEATURES | FUNCTIONALITY

USE

A SIPA system combines protection and irrigation of planting pits. It reduces the number of irrigation operations by municipalities, by means of storage capacities.

FUNCTIONALITY

The tried-and-tested irrigation system, which acts as the supporting frame for our surface gratings or underfloor tree gratings, combines irrigation, protection against compaction and ventilation of the planting pit in one system. Depending on the system size, the support frame can be filled with 130-360 l. The water is supplied to the tree in reduced quantities by throttling. This type of irrigation prevents the substrate from being washed away and ensures that the tree does not get all the water at once. The adjustable water outlet also sets out drinking water sasvings.
