The Quadro 5 system offers maximum volume for the root area. The trees may already have a substantial root ball when they are planted. The Quadro 5 is therefore particularly suitable for mature trees. This system provides notable root space for trees planted in rows. The system is also available in an asymmetrical design and can therefore and therefore versatile in use. All systems are equipped with an integrated depth ventilation and impress with an easy installation. They are 99% recyclable and designed for a dynamic wheel load of 1.5 t to 5 t.
The Quadro 5 system is always used when more root space volume is required. Even older trees are given enough space for continued healthy development.
There are three system models, which differ primarily in their type of foundation. With the fully equipped HUNO® TreeCare, an ideal gas exchange takes place in the root area by means of the air caps, via the ventilation supports and the distribution in the WurzelStern. The side rail made of HUNO® Biotextil biodegrades over time. Compaction of the soil is prevented by the inner segment, which is placed after the planting can - depending on the version adapt itself to the increase in thickness of the trunk.
With the HUNO underfloor substrate type L 0-32, we would like to introduce you to our new tree substrate designed for maximum porosity for construction type 2 according to FLL.
Soil air is the limiting factor for tree development. Without sufficient looseness and thus soil air (oxygen) in the subsoil, this cannot be reached by the tree roots. The water and nutrients available there cannot be used. Particularly in construction type 2 according to FLL, paving compactions far above the limit of 95% of the Proctor density required by FLL occur again and again. The consequences are unnecessary obstacles to rooting and poor development of the tree.
We took this as an opportunity to offer the HUNO underfloor substrate type L 0-32.
HUNO underfloor substrate type L 0-32 offers an ideal medium with 25-35 vol% air pore space of the tree root. Even with compaction above 95% of the Proctor density, sufficient air-filled pores remain to enable deep rooting.
