Our tree protection gratings from the ARBORIS® design series provide a very special flair. The cast-iron tree protection gratings - awarded with the RED DOT Design Prize - combine high quality and aesthetic standards with modern safety requirements and are available in 2 sizes and for 2 wheel load classes (1.5t car or 5.0t truck).
The anti-slip surface is already cast in the cast iron and has the highest possible level of sure-footedness, which is proven by the building material testing authority according to DIN 51130, e.g. for the AMELLUS® design. In addition to their function as tree protection, they also serve as supports for in-ground luminaires for a variety of manufacturers. The HUMBERG ARBORIS® series is 99% recyclable.
The ARBORIS® gratings are made for object designs with design requirements and are available as a complete tree protection system with integrated ventilation of the planting pit.
The HUMBERG cast surface gratings, which are designed for a higher wheel load, have a substructure made of galvanized steel tube, which can absorb the forces that occur and transfer them to the foundations.
There are two system variants. With the root area supply integrated in HUNO® TreeCare for optimal gas exchange, you give the root system the best possible supply of moisture, nutrients, oxygen and space.
